Toy Story

It all started in 1995 when a now Disney movie had hit the box office. This particular movie was one of it's kind. Disney and Pixar joined forces to make a movie like no other. They called it "Toy Story". It was the first feature film to ever be made by computer animation. For it being the year 1995, Disney and Pixar did an A+ job. They came out with a sequel in 1999. After over 10 years of not hearing anything we came to this point. Toy Story 3 arrived. With the latest technology and awesome graphics Buzz and Woody can dance across the big screen once again.

Now I remember being 5 or 6 years old and seeing this movie for the first time back in the day. My mind was amazed at what I had seen with Buzz and Woody. Of course the theme song, "You've got a friend in me" was a hit. I loved this movie. It was always a classic and I still remember watching it on VHS. Yea, back when it was cool.

Then about 13 years later it comes to today, Toy Story 3. Now I'm not going to spoil the whole movie for you but it was so worth seeing. Basically Andy is growing up and going to college. So time for playing with toys is out of the way. It really made me think about childhood and how much any child love to play with toys. Before you know it your all grown up and can't do those things anymore. I was just so taken in that moment of watching this movie and thinking that growing up is happening now. College, responsibility, and adulthood are all of the things that are going to be happening for all of us over the next couple of years. It taught me to be more prepared to grow up.

Changing the World

To start things off, I have officially been here in LA for a month!!! Craziness. I remember last month I had just Graduated High School the week before and then I'm packing up and moving on with my life. Just before graduation people were talking about partying all through the summer while I am doing something that is going to change the world. I still remember a moment in my High School career where i did something that I always wanted to do. After singing a song with around 300+ people in the auditorium, I said this. "Your voice in this world it matters. Anything is possible, I don't want anyone in this auditorium to think that you are too young to change the world. Because don't ever think you're too young, You can change the world, any day, start now, start Today!" I know that in that moment of saying that all of my roadblocks were out. All of the failures, discouragements, bullies, and the doubting people were all behind me.
I'm writing this blog post to tell the reader a few things and to know where I'm coming from. You have the amazing ability to do anything you want with your life! If anyone comes to you and tells you how to think, how to feel, or what to do forget about it. You are your own person. I love it that you can do something in your own state, community, or wherever and it can echo across the world. It's just about you being yourself. Growing up I tried so hard to be like other people. I then realized I need to be myself and have my own thinking and my own beliefs. It's not about what is cool or not cool. Now it's bout you being yourself and that's all you need. This entire month has taught me a lot about myself. Anyone can change the world. I just want you all to know that.
